For 2010, USSSA will be hosting the 16U “A”, 16U “B”, 18U “A”, and 18U “B” Fastpitch World Series events in Florida as part of the ESPN Rise games.
ESPN RISE GAMES
Rise to the challenge at the ESPN RISE Games Presented by Target. Hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World® Resort, the 2010 event will welcome over 13,000 athletes from eight sports, featuring elite high school competition and youth competition aspiring to rise to the next level.
“World Star” Exposure Games
Fastpitch Online Showcase, the official recruiting service of USSSA Fastpitch, is accepting nominations NOW for the “World Star” Games on Monday afternoon, July 19.
- Coaches can nominate up to 4 players
- Players chosen will be placed on teams in one of the 8 "World Star" Games
- Only players who have NOT committed to a college can be nominated
- College Coaches and a USSSA Pride player will be coaching games
- No other games will be played during the "World Star" Games
- If selected, a $25 participation fee applies

OPENING CEREMONIES
Athletes will be treated to a one-of-a-kind opening ceremonies Disney style on Saturday night, July 17th. The Opening Ceremonies will take place in Champion Stadium at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex and will feature Disney Entertainment elements, an on-field experience, fireworks, and celebrity appearances. The ceremonies will begin at 7:00 pm.
